This didn't start as a grand business plan. It started as a simple hobby, wrenching on flooded skis and machines with blown engines to give them a second chance.

The idea to offer mobile repair hit me after a wildly frustrating trip to a local dealership just to get a key programmed. When they told me it would be a multi-month wait and that they don't even touch machines older than 10 years, I knew I couldn't be the only rider dealing with that headache.

I hold a commercial pilot's license and a degree in aviation maintenance. I run Marks Sea-Doo Repair as an independent mobile service to bring that exact same high-stakes precision to Central Texas riders. If it’s on my bench, it’s done by the book.

Precision Standards

Every bolt is torqued to spec using OEM service manuals. If the manufacturer calls for a specific thread locker or marine grease, that is exactly what gets used. No shortcuts.

The Backstory

This 2019 Sea-Doo GTI was completely dead, abandoned in the dirt. When I finally pulled the cylinder head off, I found a completely shattered piston. For most shops, that’s an automatic total loss.

The Fix

I hoisted the engine out, tore it down to the bare block, and did a complete rebuild from the ground up. I cleared the block, installed new pistons, and reassembled everything to exact factory spec.

The Result

Today, this GTI is fully restored, running perfectly, and back on the trailer ready to hit the lake.
